Truss Support Clips
Truss Support Clips are used in the tomato growing industry to support fruit trusses.
The first trusses on a tomato plant can easily be damaged due to snapping/kinking.
A Truss Support Clip is fastened around the truss stem, giving it support and ensuring better fruit quality and increased production.
Pure Hydroponics offers four kinds of Bato branded truss support clips:
HMO 5.5mm and HMO 6mm – These Truss Support Clips have open constructions and are therefore very suitable for the early stages of the growth in which stems need more contact with open air.
The HMO 5.5 mm truss support is also available in a compostable version.
HMO Model
U-Model 6mm – This Truss Support Clip is pushed over the stem and gives good support to the truss stem.
U-Model flex 6mm – This Truss Support Clip is also pushed over the stem, but its flexibility makes it possible to straighten it out and place it more quickly over the stem.
U Model Flex
The Hook-model truss support is attached with its hooks at the end of the stem.
